Best Scene Ever!
The train scene is definately the best scene in all of the Wallace & Gromit films. picking up the spair track and everything. It is excellent. They can never top that in my opinion.

sharei thought it was dead funny when the bottle landed on the penguins head
:P "Hello Zep...."
Its easily one of the most exciting chases I've seen in ANY film: the music, the action, and Gromit with his lampshade on dodging bullets is beyond cute. What is it about Gromit? I think I'm slightly obsessed by him.
shareIt is definately one of the best chase scenes ever not just the best scene in any Wallace and Gromit I think. The way Gromit crawls along the train and Feathers Mc Graw shoots at him, then shoots the lever is pure class. Also the penguin flying then landing in the bottle never fails to have me in hysterics.
shareJust try to imagine how much work they put into it: laborious setup, click... move train 0.0003 of an inch, click... raise Gromit's right arm by 1 degree, click... lose two years of your life for a three minute chase, click.
It was all well worth it though! It beats the cr*p out of the ones in The French Connection and even The Blues Brothers. Best chase scene ever, in any medium. Funnier then the Keystone Kops, more thrilling than Police Story and somehow they even manage to squeeze in some character development. Perfection in (stop-)motion.
Dude, the way Gromit picked up the packet of train tracks and was just laying them down at TOP-SPEED... that was just friggin' CLASSIC right there.

-clings to Wingo's spoiler- Muahaha!!
Wingo: Get off me, Candy... pleeaase.
Its up there with any thing committed to film.
"The Cheque's in the mail"
In my opinion, it is one of the finest scenes in any film i've ever seen, animated or not!
The fact that it is stop-frame claymation makes it unbelievable!
