Did I imagine it or did anyone else..film question?. (spoilers)

SPOILERS BELOW!!!

Was it my imagination, or at the end of the film when Jill is wheeled into Julia's room and Julia turned over, did she make a sound?? Doesn't that mean that she can speak again??
Also, as far as the debate over whether Julia shot herself, or someone else did... it seems to me that the guy shot her. Remember when John goes back over to Julia's apartment and sees that the time on the clock is wrong? And he had read in Julia's journal "DARK...NO PHONE." The psycho obviously cut the power, or unplugged everything.

I just finished watching it and she didn't make a sound that I heard.

I watched it again tonight...I could have sworn I heard her make a "hm" sound. Oh well, its not mportant....I guess I just really get "into" the details of films that I like :).
Julia was such a strong character in so many ways...she'd figure out a way to communicate no matter what.

no Julia didn't shoot herself. I thought Landis fooled Julia into going back to her apartment by pretending to be Jill. Julia's journal entry was very creepy! I watched the end again and I did hear Julia make a noise and when she turned her head to Jill. I had to turn up the TV to hear it though.

I always thought he shot her because of that Journal entry, then recently someone had suggested that Julia didn't even write that entry. I rewatched the film and it darn on me that Julia wrote in cursive and the entry was in print.

If she did shoot herself, the hospital scene where Landis goes to the hospital to Julia's room fits better. Because he hit her pretty hard.

wow it is like discovering a new movie.
