Well marty's dad said he had a major heart attack and then fell forward in the pool and drowned to finish him off so no Clara didn't kill him.

But wreck it Ralph at least raised the suspicion that clara might have forced his head under the water because she was upset that Edward scissor hands was interested in Audrey Griswold.
