Who are Buju and Ky-o?

Could someone give me a summary of who they are seeing as I've only seen the first two films?

Buju is a Makemono, or a Demon-Beast, a half-Majin(demon), half-Jujin(man-beast) hybrid. He was a professional criminal who was the strongest Makemono in the world. His powers were unmatched, and he used his fighting skills to be a serial killer, serial rapist and a professional thief. He was crazy and evil. He then met Kyo-O, a.k.a. the "Osaka Chojin", furthermore known as Himi. She is a magical child magically created by the magic energies of the Overfiend. The baby rapidly grew into a girl after appearing in a statue. She is the Destroyer as the True Overfiend, the baby born in Osaka Castle, is the Creator. They are opposite forces of the same being. Birth and Death. Her influence turned Buju into a fanatically loyal bodyguard for her. Buju was given an enchanted sword that greatly increased his power by her magic, and now Buju, the villain, despite his sick, depraved attitude, behavior and lifestyle, became a hero. He became a leader of a Makemono revolution against the human oppressors who were at war with the demon-beasts. He is a reluctant ally of Amano, as Amano is a reluctant ally of him. During the four-way crossfire war between the Makai, the Jujinkai, the humans and the Makemonos, not to mention the continuing destruction of the three worlds by the Overfiend, Kyo-O used the essence of her powers, the "Judging Light" to cause the fighting to stop. She stopped the conflict by covering everyone who was fighting with light, which killed all aggressors. I hope that this helps. There was more detail to this but I didn't want to ramble on and on.

Its complicated but I get the picture. So, Kyo-o is Nikkis/Takkeakis replacement as the anti-chojin?

The idea of a Jujin/makai hybrid is interesting. Are there any pictures of him?

By the way, Hime is not referred to as the 'Osaka Chojin'. That's incorrect.

I'm not much of a fan of Buju. You never get the feeling that he was remorseful for his atrocities in Udoji III. Plus he is back to his irresponsible and lewd ways in Udoji IV.

Buju was never shown to be a good guy so it was never the intention to make his character redeemed. He was simply a bad guy who became fanatically loyal to Himi. That doesn't make him a good guy. It just makes him a freak on a leash. As for Kyo-O being the Anti-Chojin replacement, yes, that is the case. The Evil King takes on many different representatives. "Where God is present. So is the devil. Where the Chojin is present, so too must there be an Evil King." And as for the Osaka Chojin not being Kyo-O/Himi, how is that? The Chojin is split into two beings. One is order, the other is chaos. I thought Himi represented order while the other true Overfiend is chaos. Nagumo, the Overfiend and the True Overfiend may be three separate entities but they are one and the same. Overfiend is like God, so he is a trinity and omnipresent. Nagumo is the human part, the giant devil with the giant tentacle penises is the god part and the glowing baby that forced himself out of Akemi is the "Holy Spirit" aspect. I'm not trying argue I'm just asking a question. If you can explain it better please do, it would help because I find trying to analyze this story to be very tedious.

Well I think the conclusion of Chojin & Kyo-O is rather ambiguous. I never liked the idea of Kyo-O being a part of Chojin, since Chojin seemed pretty sure of itself at the end of Urotsukidoji I. After all, if Kyo-O was necessary I'm sure Chojin would have seen to it that it was created, not instead by Myunihausen transferring Nagumo's blood to Takeaki.

When I hear the term 'Osaka Chojin' I just think it is self-explanatory: The Chojin in Osaka. Hime/Kyo-O says so in Udoji III (although granted Kiseki's translation was duff): 'I must meet with the Osaka Chojin.'

I prefer the cancelled Udoji V myself where Chojin is an androgynous being trying to wipe out all trace of the Three Races.

Oh, I forgot about Ceaser. Whos he? Myuni Hausen in his cyborg form?

Caesar is a cyborg cult leader obsessed with Overfiend's destruction in Urotsukidoji III. Alektor, his daughter was accidentally killed by the Overfiend when Caesar tried to use a startling combination of magic and technology to control or kill Overfiend, that resulted in the Chojin almost killing Caesar. Caesar was a wizard, cyborg, and wealthy businessman who had a cult of followers obsessed with him. They believed that he was a god. Later, he transformed himself into a supernaturally enhanced half-demon cyborg who used magic and high technology to make himself the leader of the ruins of Japan after Overfiend destroyed it. His army was hell-bent on conquering Earth and destroying Overfiend, as well as the Makai, Jujinkai, Makemonos and everyone else who stood in his way. His ally was Myunni Hausen who had survived being sliced to pieces by Amano Jyaku by the magically powered helicopter blades. He turned himself into a cyborg and implanted the enchanted orb into his bionic hand. His aliases were Faust and Munchausen, but only Amano knew that he was really Myunni Hausen the 2nd. Just as Faust/Munchausen hated Amano and Overfiend, Caesar hated Buju. He couldn't let go of his long dead daughter Alektor, so he created an android duplicate of her which was created using her DNA combined with mystical circuitry. That's pretty much it.
