Jyujin Beast forms

I was wondering, and this is probably mere coincidence, but it seems that Amano & Megumi only transform into their Beast forms (in the anime) during encounters with the Chojin.

- Amano transforms during Final Inferno as Nagumo/Chojin's tentacle rays impact upon him.

- Megumi is struck by one of Nagumo's rays too. The next time we see her, she is in her Beast form.

- During Udoji III, as Megumi copulates with the 'Chojin Golem', she transforms into her Beast form.

- In the cancelled Udoji V, Amano is in his Beast form on an insane killing spree. This is caused by the androgynous Chojin's power possessing Osaka's populace.

Just seems a bit of coincidence. Although I've heard that their Beast forms are their natural forms, but if that is so, why would they need human disguises during Udoji III/IV when the world is in a post-apocalyptic state?

No one can really say why they still use their human disguises, even though the world has changed so much that their human disguises are no longer neccessary. Maybe it's just that they are so used to wearing the illusion for so long that old habits die hard. Or maybe they actually like their human disguises, being as comfortable in the illusion form just as well as in their Jujin form. One thing is certain,it takes concentration to remain shape-shifted like that. If Amano and Megumi are ever out of their human disguises, it's only because they actively chose to shed those illusions, or they were distracted by something that was so intense that they lost their concentration and shape-shifted back into their true Jujin forms by reflex.
