Anyone notice the parallels to Peter Pan?

Amano is Pan, Megumi is Tinkerbell and the Man-Beast realm is Neverland.

Actually I looked at the other magical dimension of Jyujinkai to be more like the biblical hell lite, with the other magical dimension of Makai to be more like the biblical hell concentrate and the dimension of Ninjinkai to be the physical manifestation of purgatori. Jyaku "Jack" Amano, his lover Princess Mimi of the Royal Kingdom of the Jyujin, his younger sister Megumi Amano and all of the other Jyujin to be "angels" of a sort, albeit rebel ones, the Majin to be "fallen angels puree", the Ninjin are a perfect evolutionary mistake, an overrated, glorified virus that learned to stand upright and talk, and now thinks that they are the finest creatures under "God's" creation and the Overfiend a.k.a. the Chojin(the "God Above All Gods") is the biblical God...s h i t-faced drunk! The Kurokos are obviously the creatures that inspired many myths and legends about ghosts, and goblins and the Makemonos are unwanted crossbreeds that are the products of a random convergence of varying biologies, no more, no less. Welcome to Toshio Maeda's private, incorporated mythology that is Urotsukidoji("The Wandering Kid"). If you're looking for any heroes in this world, forget it. There are none.
