Uncut in the UK

Hi,
Does anyone know where I could find an uncut or near uncut version of this film in England?

Thanks,

I only know that you may be able to find the uncut versions of every movie just as well as the cut versions of every movie in the U.S.A. However as far as the U.K. is concerned, nope, sorry. I'm afraid that you may have to try to get that somehow on the black market because I think that I heard that the uncut versions of every movie are banned in the U.K. I may be wrong but I know that the United Kingdom is far more conservative in their attitudes about anime porno flicks that than the conservatives in the United States of America. Here in the U.S., it all depends on where you are at. I live in New York City, so here in this part of the United States people are a little bit more liberal. I wish that I could help you out there man. Sorry I can't. Good luck in getting them though. If and when you do, believe me when I tell you this, you will be witness to true cinematic brilliance.

I have to disagree with your ‘Liberal’ argument. Both our countries ratings boards have different attitudes towards what’s appropriate in movies. The MPAA censor sex in movies while the BBFC censor only ultra violence in movies. The only reason ‘this film’ and the sequels were cut is because the main aspect of the films is sexual violence, which is a touchy subject in the UK. Most films now have been passed uncut such as ‘ A Clockwork Orange’ or ‘The Evil Dead’, times have changed and the BBFC is now more lenient. If you watch ‘This Film Is Not Yet Rated’, you will see what sort of trivial cuts the MPAA have made to films to get rid of sex in them, while BBFC keeps most of it in, see the movie ‘Districted’ which was passed uncut in the UK.

One major difference is that in America if a movie gets a NC-17 many cinemas wont show it and even places like Blockbuster won’t stock it, but over here in the UK if a film gets an 18 certificate nobody cares, it even makes some films more popular because you can see ‘18’ films in every cinema not a select few. In my local Blockbusters in Leeds you can rent Medium core porn films (films with real sex and nudity but no penetration shots) and I even rented ‘Districted’ from there (Which has plenty on penetration shots).

Television is a whole different story, this where we see what country is most liberal. American Network Television is a lot more prudish than the UK. Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS etc. have very strict guide lines set by the FCC, which means that the stations can’t have strong language, nudity, sex or very violent scenes. Here in the UK our network channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 and five) can get away with pretty much what ever they want. After the 9:00pm watershed strong language (C* U * N * T, F * U * C * K and Mother F * U * C * K * E * R) can be said on TV and before the watershed S * H * I * T (which isn’t that offensive in England), P * I * S * S , B*A*S*T*A*R*D etc. can be said. Full frontal nudity of both men and women can bee seen on Network Television here almost every day and real, non-simulated sex can be shown on TV (Though no penetration shots are shown), the first time I saw Tonya Hardings’ sex tape was on a channel five documentary about sex tapes (Lots of uncut nudity and sex). The first time I saw South Park the Movie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back were on Network TV, completely uncut as are HBO shows like The Sopranos, Sex and The City, Six Feet Under etc. have all been shown uncut on Channel 4.

So inclusion of this ‘rant’, America may be a bit more liberal towards films but when it comes to Network TV the USA seems to be very prudish and not very Liberal.

Thanks,

WHOA! Collar that dog boy! I never said anything for you to be all pissed off about. Here I am stating what it is here in the U.S.A. and from what I know about, the cut versions of Urotsukidoji in the U.K. I never said that the U.K. was more of a prude when it comes to things, all I said was that I think that the U.K. is more conservative when it comes to anime porn, which I think is true. If you don't agree with it, fine, don't agree, just don't go yelling at me because you feel America's television is prudish. You'll get no arguement from me here on that subject. American television is very s h i t t y when compared to certain other countries' television. And their attitude about live action porn is much worse. Now maybe the U.K. has lightened up a bit more in recent times when it comes to anime porn, and if that is the case, good. The U.S. should get its head out of its ass and do the same when it comes to television and live action porn. Anime porn is merely a cult thing here. Either you're into it, or you're not. So people here generally see it as a silly porn novelty act. Only the most religious fanatic, conservative dip s h i t s will rip their hair out over such trivial nonsense. But then again, these are the same people who think that being gay is the work of the devil. Yeah, whatever. Anyway, next time you want to rant, rant about something that we can both have fun complaining about. This thing right now is just a silly misunderstanding that doesn't even need to become an arguement between us.

Hi,
I apologise to priorityoverride for coming off a little strong, I thought you were having a dig at my country and enforcing the old Stereotype of the uptight, often prudish Englishman.

Thanks for the great find man. I really appreciate it.

How reliable are visual-pain.com? Has anybody here ever used them?

reply

I've used then several times and they're very reliable. You can pay by PayPal, if you have an account.
The discs are DVD-Rs, and generally good quality. Some video or vcd transfers are obviously not so good because of the original source. Workprints vary in quality.
Delivery is around 7-10 days.
