I think everyone has to agree that the acting of the two lead roles was superb, at least for this type of story, it really made you feel the chemistry and the love...some love movies are meant to be this good but just do not turn out as so, does anyone know any other really good ones that are not often seen? Thank you!!!

I actually saw this the other day and liked it!!! Except Julia Roberts for me was not the best actress for the role. I liked the guy though!

Thinking about it more... the list of recommended similar films could almost include any form of loss or grieving, but... has anyone seen Entropy, with Stephen Dorff? Untamed Heart does some unconventional things with storytelling and sort of breaks away from your typical romance film, I can't put my finger on it but it's odd (in a way I enjoyed)... anyhow, Entropy really pushes that envelope of artistic license, and also contains a sad story of loss.

Long, long overdue reply, but how about the original Love Story, with Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw? It's so old that there's probably a generation who haven't actually seen it.
