See, your thinking like a guy. Somebody tries to hurt you, you hurt them then turn them in. This is the smart logical plan. Now think like a woman. Look at how long it took for her to tell anybody. Most women either take years or never admit it/ turn it in. Take this Cosby thing for example. Under the circumstances his tack was probably the best answer. At least emotionally for her. I know it is stupid, but that's the way it works with women, or at least many women. He didn't put her inside because he might have woke the parents. He waited all night to make sure she was okay.
