I absolutely adore this movie

It was on t.v a while ago. I had laods of things to do but my mom called me and told me to watch it. I told her to leave me alone because I was busy.
She said that she knows I'll like this movie and that one of the characters is a lot like me.
In the end I watched it. Oh my goodness I was absolutely shocked. Me and Caroline have so much in common. It was creepy. At one point I noticed that Adam reminds me of one of my ex boyfriends. It was very strange indeed.
I absolutely fell in love with this movie.

Yes, it's a lovely movie! One of my faves and much better than other romantic dramas as this film focuses so strongly on two great characters. It reminds me of a European film (French, Spanish, etc). Imagine it with subtitles!

Wow, you're lucky to have had an ex similar to Adam - he's such a beautiful character (inside and out!). There is such chemistry between Adam and Caroline. What Caroline says is true: "He doesn't make sense, I don't make sense... together we make sense".

Love this film!! Only thing is, I gotta find me an Adam...

But to be completely honest, while watching films like this girls get all "Oh wow, Adam is so sweet" and all that.
In the meantime my ex(his named was Radek-polish name) began to annoy me at some point.
You see. He was an orphan as well, his parents died in a car accident when he was 4 and he was raised by his grandma.
He was extremely sweet and very romantic. He was one of those guys who I could hug, he would whisper in my ear and I felt that everything would be ok.
But when I had a problem sometimes I really needed advice. I needed someone to talk to. So I went to him and he hugged me and said, "It's going to be ok". That wasn't enough for me.
I'm very unique, original and crazy but sometimes I have a problem and want it solved. I knew he cared but I felt that he didn't understand me.
We broke up because of that and sometimes I think about him and somewhat regret it.

i watched this film when i was about 16,and loved it soo much!!!i cried so much when Adam died at the end...and Christain Slater played the character soo well!!He became a total heart throb for me after watching it!!it was a real tearjerker thats stayed in my memory for years.

It made me cry too!
It was so cute when they were talking and I don't remember the exact quotes but it was something along the lines of:
"I don't want them to take my heart"
"Why?"
"Because if they take my heart I won't be able to love you anymore.
"That' not true. It's just an expression. We love people with our minds and souls."
"Than why does my heart hurt so when you're not near me?"

So sweet.

This movie made me cry at the age of 12 and now that I am 26, it still has the exact same effect. That's says something about the movie to me. I think its because then, I was extremely quiet and isolated and this movie spoke to me because of that. Now I think it's because I know how improbable true love is with just the right person at just the right time. This movie ia an absolute gem, too bad more don't know about it or how underrated the talent of both Tomei and Slater is today.

The magic of Untamed Heart is that every time you watch it, you are taken back to that first time. For some, everything that was felt is felt again, and for others, a new facet is revealed.

I was about 17-18ish when this movie came out and it pretty much has the exact same effect on me now, at 34, as it did then. I tend to identify with Adam a lot because I have a problem with looking people in the eyes. When I do, it's like I'm touching a hot surface and my instinct jumps in and quite literally forces me to look back away. In most cases, it's better not to look at them to begin with, rather than to look at them knowing you're gonna get scared out of your wits and they're going to sense that. So maybe I'm even worse than Adam as far as being quiet and shy, I don't know. So now I'm 34 and haven't even had my first kiss. I accepted a long time ago that it would probably never happen. But man does it get lonely. Thank goodness for the internet, 'cause without that, I'd be nothing. I probably wouldn't be here at all.

It's a very sweet movie. I remember catching it for the first years ago over the christmas period when it was on TV and loving it. This and "While You Were Sleeping" are two of my favourite romantic films.

I like this movie too. I caught my mom watching once and then I think I went and watched it. I really liked it back then, and I still like it now. It's very romantic.
