omg i just watched this on netflix. i swear ive seen this movie hundreds of times, and i have NEVER seen her actual boobs before! have you guys seen this? they show the boobs!!!

Believe it or not I saw this flick in the theatre the first time it came out because (as one may guess by my user-name) I am a big Christian Slater fan. They were in the theatrical release! As a young male teenager they left quite and impression on me.
Also they are in some of the edits that show up on premium cable showings as well, so I have seen them there as well.
When this was originally released in 1993 there was one version made for the U.S. and another for Europe. (Many movies and television shows were filmed and still are filmed like this.) Back in the early 90's and even up until just a few years ago if you showed a womans breasts, no matter how brief the scene, it almost always resulted in a R rating. However, most European countries don't have such "hang ups" about breasts like so many Americans do. And because they wanted a PG13 rating here they did not show Marisa Tomei's breasts in the U.S. version, but did so in the European version. Now that 19 years have gone by and standards have changed somewhat the movie rating administration no longer just automatically gives out a R rating for simply showing breasts. And therefore, when you see her breasts in this particular scene what you are seeing is the European version of Untamed Heart.
shareYup, MGM-HD just aired it the other day and her boobs are there now. I was taken aback because when I first saw the flick there was no nudity. It's just a quick little shot, but definitely wasn't there when it originally aired years ago on cable. Must be the international cut.

I had thought that the scene wasn't there before! I watched this years ago, and again tonight and was startled to see the nudity. As I didn't recall seeing any in 1993.
