Question about the final sequence

I have just watched the three colours trilogy and I thought it was fantastic, with this being the best of the three (only marginally though) and I think the end sequence is probably the best ever. One thing I did notice though was that it look to me like the mother died at the end (we see her close her eyes and then a nurse walking quickly towards her - she could have just fallened to sleep but the way her eyes shut looked like someone dying to me). And then in the very final shot we see Julie preying - with a solitary tear running down her cheek - in front of a window (posibbly a car window) and I wonder if this is her at her mother's funeral?

What does everyone else think?

... the tears Julie cries at the end are the ones she hasn't shed for the death of her family (as mentioned by the housekeeper, who is weeping for her near the start of the film). She's able to do so finally because she has surrendered herself to love, has reached out to touch other people (as the text of the final choral work from 1st Corinthians suggests: "Love is patient, love is kind ..."). The final sequence reprises all the main characters.

"I am Mr. Snrub ... yes, that will do ..." Honga-Hula!
