Any One Help Me Please??

I have never seen and one of the "three colour films"... but i'm planning to... the thing is, should i watch them in orded?? or are they unrelated like the "vengance" trilogy???

Save "Red" for last. Watch "Blue" and "White" in any order you want to.

reply

Hmm, the correct/intended order is Blue-White-Red....

Thanks... I'll leave red til' last then ... again, thanks

I agree that White really works best after Blue, and Red should come last (i.e. release order)... there's something odd about White that makes me prefer to have it situated between the other two movies.

The director ordered them in a particular way (Blue-White-Red) as part of a unified design for the entire trilogy. I recommend buying the entire 3 film work, and listening to the oustanding audio commentary from film scholor Annette Insdorf.

It's a great cinematic experience. Once you're done with that, check out the entire Decalogue (made for Polish TV in the late '80s) and The Double Life of Veronique, just released by Criterion.

Enjoy!

IS the Decalogue out on DVD? I looked a while back, but I haven't hunted for it recently. If so, what publisher?

I assume you're american....?!

I'm sorry. Occasionally the obvious course of action eludes me. Thanks for the link. :)
