I got the movie from netflix and really like it. Powerful and very well made. I thought it was a very personal and story wise very simple, but I was at Hollywood Video, saw it, and read the back. It made it sound like a twisty thriller, talk about false advertising?

That's the same way with The Village.
They made it look like a huge horror/thriller with the trailer, cover, and name. The entire movie includes maybe 2 *slightly* suspenseful/scary moments. Everything else is simple life in the town.
