Better than Rouge
Am I the only one who found this one better?
shareNo, you're not. I agree with you.
RIP Ian....
I loved Rouge and the way it closes the trilogy, but I'd say it lacks conflict. Bleu is better as a drama. By the way, did the grade just raise? I could swear it was 7.8.

In my opinion, Blue is the best of the trilogy, and Rouge is way, WAY below the other two.
We got women talking back. We got people playing stringed instruments. It's the end of days.
I wholeheartedly disagree. Rouge was the point of the trilogy for me. I loved it. And Irene Jacob is THE actress for him. Perfect pairing. I will concede that dramatically, Blue may be stronger. But the music, the cinematography, the tone, and morality of Rouge is far more interesting.
shareI'm with you! In my mind Bleu is a good deal better than Rouge as well... :) And Rouge is pretty good already.

I generally avoid trite comparisons about these three masterpieces, because I like to view them as a consistent body of work that just comes in the form of three films, however, for the simple fact that the music is the best, Binoche is the sexiest actress alive, and it introduced me to the whole, rousing set of films, Blue will always take the biscuit. And the bit with her family's funeral in the bed always makes me cry.
