Enjoyed this as a kid
Haven't seen it since but I remember enjoying this as a child. Just the existence of the movie blew my mind after playing Super Mario World for years. I couldn't believe there was a live-action movie. Any video game references in the movie (like the mushrooms) was exciting.
But looking at the reviews makes me think a re-watch will ruin my childhood experience of the movie. I may just remain in ignorance and cherish the memory.
