I really wanted to hate this film, but I didn't.

When I first saw the preview for this movie I thought that the premise was lame. I also didn't like the way that the trailer showcased the goofier moments and how this young, innocent farm girl falls for an idiot and becomes a wild child. However, it was playing at the drive-in with a film I really wanted to see. I figured that I would have to sit through a crappy movie. Well, to my surprise I found it to be a very touching and surprisingly moving comedy. I started off hating "Crawl", but as the film went on, I began to like him. The message of this film was how Crawl helped this family to become better people and how he helped their daughter break out of her shell. A good film!

You know, I know that Pauley Shore gets a bad rap sometimes, but I love this move and the other ones he's done. I just watched In the Army Now last night on encore and I was laughing my butt off. These are the best when you just want to unwind and laugh.

Yeah i think people just love to make fun of Pauly Shore cause he's so easy to make a joke out of.
I really loved this movie, also.
It was such a surprise to me how much I enjoyed this flick, it's got so much heart.

I wouldn’t say I wanted to hate it, but I didn’t expect to like it, certainly not as much as I did. It was a fun movie.
