Thanksgiving

I always watch Son in Law around this time of year. I consider this to be sort of a Thanksgiving movie. She brings Crawl home in the first place because she didn't want him to be alone on Thanksgiving. Rebecca bringing Crawl home is what makes the whole movie. If she doesn't bring Crawl home for Thanksgiving, there's no movie. Then of course it ends with the whole family together at the table having Thanksgiving dinner.

I always consider it a thanksgiving movie, just like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Also I just checked its now on Netflix, I haven't been able to watch it since my DVD stopped working. I still wish it was on bluray.

Thanksgiving came again and it got me in the mood to watch Son in Law. I would also consider Planes, Trains, and Automobiles to be a Thanksgiving movie. I haven't seen that one in a while, but I remember really liking it. I liked Son in Law the first time I saw it. Another movie I always think of on Thanksgiving is Rocky. Not that it's a Thanksgiving movie. I just think of the movie on Thanksgiving. Rocky takes Adrian out on their first date on Thanksgiving. I always think of Paulie throwing the bird out the door and holding the leg saying, "Ya hungry, Rock?"

I never thought of it as a Thanksgiving movie, but it makes total sense! I'm going to add it to my viewing rotation when it rolls around next year.
