I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE PRODUCERS WOULD SHOW A VOLCANO FOR THE OPENING SEQUENCE...IS IT A METAPHOR FOR CARLY'S SEXUAL FRUSTRAIONS AND THAT SHE IS ABOUT TO ERUPT IN SEXUAL SATISFACTION???? CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME???????

I THINK IT'S PRETTY RANDOM FOR THE SCENERY AS WELL..ONE MINUTE WERE IN HAWAII..THE NEXT IN NEW YORK?? WISE DECISION TO EXCLUDE THIS SCENE. BUT IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO VIEW THE DELETED FOOTAGE!

I THINK THE FINAL SEQUENCE HAS AN ELEGANT FEEL TO IT...VERY 90'S..VERY S&M!!!

THIS MOVIE NEEDS A SEQUEL....COME ON..ONE MORE LAST SHOT...

AT LEAST DIRECT TO VIDEO!!!

I don't know much about the whole Volcano sequence. But what he said in the movie about flying into a volcano one day or something like that. It's been awhile since I've seen this movie.

My friends and I wanted a sequel to this movie.I liked this movie..could have been a little better then it was. But it still rocked in it's only little way.

Apparently they tested an ending where Carly and Zeek(how on earth do u spell that) AMERICAN NAMES!!! heeh just kidding, anyway they were gonna fly into a volcano but audiences hated that so they dumped it, I have the book by Ira Levin but i don't think it mentioned anything about volcanoes and the ending was way different to all that jazz. Great film which didn't get much play, it was my coming of age film heheh
