Which one do you prefer the most?
Sleepless or You've Got Mail?? You've Got Mail is very good and funny, but Sleepless is also wonderful! How 'bout you?

shareSleepless! The cast is stronger overall, it has the hook to the classic "An Affair to Remember with the fantastic Kerr/Grant, and it has a sweetness to it that I found lacking in Mail.
shareive gotta say youve got mail...
ive seen youve got mail numerous times and have always loved it. i just watched SIS last night and it was so boring to me. i thought i would love it, but it just didnt do anything for me. the only thing i loved was tom hanks, he actually was the only thing that made me watch till the end.

Sleepless in Seattle. You've Got Mail is just lacking Seattle's charm but it is still worth watching.

seattle has a more outdoors feel to it. that's true.
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
what i love about you've got mail is that Tom and Meg have more screen time together they make a really good match, i think Sleepless is stronger but i enjoy more watching you've got mail, sometimes i find Sleepless on tv and i'm like "okay i have seen this movie plenty of times" and i change the channel but whenever i saw you've got mail on tv i don't know why i can't change the channel even if i have seen it a lot of more times than Sleepless
shareWas going to say the same thing. I like that we see Meg and Tom together in You've Got Mail.
I love both- it's too hard to choose.
I can't decide. I love them both. I love "Sleepless In Seattle" and it's ties to "An Affair to Remember". But I also love "You've Got Mail's" ties to "The Shop Around The Corner" with Jimmy Stewart. It's one of my all time favorite movies and "You've Got Mail" is a great tribute to it.

I finally saw Sleepless in Seattle for the first time on Encore just now. I love that movie it was a nice romantic movie. I seen a little bit of You've Got Mail but not the whole thing.

I slightly prefer You've Got Mail more because it has a more touching scene in it. It is the scene when Meg Ryan's character finally closes her store for the last time and she ventures inside her business rival's store. It conveyed a sense of defeat and sadness very well. Some of the Sleepless in Seattle scenes seemed a bit far fetched (like the kid flying off by himself). Although I do prefer Seattle over NYC, I felt more close to You've Got Mail especially since the movie came out soon after I first got on the Internet and did online chatting with people across several continents.
