What's with the stare down at the end?

I'd say spoiler alert, but heck, it's been 17 years. If you haven't seen it yet then tough. I just watched this on one of the premium channels for the first time in 10 years. It was really good...

What's with the staring contest when they meet up at the end on the building though? It just looks awkward. It's not even a loving look. It's just odd.

I think it's a 'can't believe it's you' kind of thing. After thinking about that person for so long and never meeting them, and then feeling so strongly so quickly, I'm guessing. I felt like that with a guy I used to date. We went long distance and didn't see each other for a year, so when I saw him again I couldn't stop looking at him like 'So you're still real, and I still feel something for you.' Not anymore though lol

Awwww. Too bad, that's real life. Movies are better. Long live the movies.

Oh I know right? I felt kind of awkward watching it! I mean, when they're all smiley at the end, it's cute. But while they're walking there Meg Ryan just stares at him like O_______O Hahhaa I was confused.

Still, amazing movie!

way agree. annie & sam looked they were about to draw as she has that dirty harry 'i know what you're thinking, did he fire six shots, or only five? well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement i kind of lost track myself. but, being as this is a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'do i feel lucky? well, do ya? ' look on her face.

Golf clap? Golf clap.

Love at first sight

Dionne Warwick sang about that line. It's called the Look of Love. It's not a deeply committed look to a long term relationship. It's a look that each found whom they've been looking for it, and they both know it.
