Nope, you're wrong on the teeth. All kids are different. My oldest son didn't loose his top baby teeth until he was 10. Sure, most of his classmates had lost them already and had adult teeth in their place. But, that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with my child. He's 12 now, and has all the teeth he's supposed to have.
My younger son, would have been just as old as the oldest had the dentist not decided to pull his top teeth when he was almost 9. He had lost one of his top teeth on his own at 8, and because of the position and sizes of his adult teeth in his gums, the dentist just pulled the other three to help the adult teeth come in straight. Which, they did. What's funny about that whole thing is, my oldest, they thought his adult teeth would come in straight, so they let his baby teeth hang in there on their own. But, they did not come in straitht...no where near straight, and he's had braces and retainers for the past year to correct that.
Anyhow, all kids are different. My younger son and my daughter (my youngest child) didn't get teeth as babies until they were 1 year old. Most babies have teeth by their first birthdays, but not those two. Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them. In fact, the dentist wasn't worried about the "delay" on the baby teeth or the adult coming in, because that typically means they will be stronger.
