Sam counting his sexual partners in college

This scene is a sure giveaway that it was written by a woman. I doubt there are many men in the known universe (excepting big time womanizers like Charlie Sheen, who undoubtedly lost count in the mid-1980s) who CAN'T instantly tell you how many women they've slept with. If Sam had slept with 8 women, whether they were in college, or before, or after, I guarantee you in real life he would be walking around with that number constantly flashing somewhere in his mind:

8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 8

It's not a personal statistic men forget. Ever.

Not true. I would have to think about it because many of them were in a drunken stupor between the ages of 18-24

And to add, once you have slept with a fair amount u stop counting cuz that's childish

maybe like the other poster inferred--sam was a raging boozer in college & can't recall?

Veneration of Mark Twain is one of the roots of our current intellectual stalemate

I sat down one night and tried to make that "college" list from memory. Got to about 24 and I know there are more but some memories are hazy. Sorry girls we were probably drunk (and you probably forgot me too) ;-)

Who could forget someone that goes by the name "Captain Bob"? ?

reply

What's funny about it is that #8 Mary Kelly is the real name of the actress who plays the woman Annie sits next to on the plane. IMDB has her in You've Got Mail, too.
