I'm not trying to be insulting and I'm not suggesting that Obama is a homosexual but he has mesmerized people much the way Paul did in the film. He was an intelligent, nice looking black guy that could get people to do things they never thought they would do.
I saw this film a few days ago and I couldn't help but think of Obama right away.
Anybody else get a similar thought?

Yes, I think you have a point. I have a (white) family member who supports Obama fanatically, and that's not too strong a choice of words. He became popular by presenting himself as this guy who was post-race and who was going to transcend all our racial divides. Now, as more and more stuff is coming out about his pastor, it's clear that isn't the case. As one talk show put it, why would Obama attend church in a place where his own mother wouldn't be welcome? Not necessarily his fault, though...I just think it's sad that black people in the public eye have to jump through so many hoops in order to prove that they are "authentic."

He was an intelligent (Yale and Harvard grad), nice looking rich guy that could get people to do things they never thought they would do (go to war, vote him in for a second term).
I saw this film a few days ago and I couldn't help but think of BUSH right away.
Bush intelligent? He only went to Yale because his father and grandfather did. If they had not donated so much money to Yale, Bush would have been rejected due to his *beep* grades. Going to Yale or Harvard does not make someone intelligent.
