I mean it is painful, how could something this bad exist. Everything about it is so Goddman pretentious that It is hard to watch. Exaggeration is a part of comedy but this movie took it way to far.

You missed one of the most important messages in the film. Did you make it to the end? Ouisa had enough and saw what her life was.
As for it being about "white people" ... yes, they were white in the film but it is a more stinging portrait of wealth and high society than anything else.
I watched the end. It was stupid. And rich people aren't like this either, like I said the movie just exaggerated to much. Like every scene with the kids was just painful.

Nope. Don't think we all agree to that one either. I've seen it no less than twenty times over the past twenty three years, so no, not awful. Not remotely.
What I would agree is that the film didn't follow the generic, cut and fold film making format and perhaps you simply didn't get it.
Furthermore, the film required Hollywood to stand up and take notice to Will Smith as more than a sitcom, one hit wonder and launched his film career, so in truth, Smith's only shame was that he refused to kiss Anthony Michael Hall during filming which he later blamed as bad advice given to him by Denzel Washington.
