O Happy Day question.

When the kids are singing in front of those group of people, O Happy Day, I can't tell if they're really singing or just mouthing along to a recording. Also, isn't Jason Weaver the lead singer in that song? Whoever that was, that high note was awesome!
Anyone know?

I do believe they're miming - songs are rarely live in the movies.

Also, Ryan Toby does all his own singing in the movie. It's definitely the same voice as his music released with his group, City High. :)

The lead singer of "O Happy Day" is Ryan Toby. He would later become one-third of the group City High ("What Would You Do", "Caramel").
