Ode to Joy

What lyrics did they sing Ode to Joy with? It seemed to start with the words 'Joyful, joyful' but apparently, no version of the lyrics I could find start with these words.

The classical version of that song is Ode to Joy but it's more commonly known in churches now as Joyful, Joyful. Here are the lyrics:

It's called "Joyful, Joyful"

The Hymn is Joyful, Joyful not Ode to Joy (although both use beethoven)

The Hymn lyrics (not the sister act lyrics) are below.

The lyrics are actually a Christian hymn, "Joyful, Joyful". It's set to the tune of Ode to Joy. A lot of the time, people don't make the distinction, so the same song can be called "Ode to Joy" or "Joyful, Joyful."
