I'd like to see them do some classical music

I really don't think they would have won the competition. It was impressive, yes, but it was a choir competition which generally means classical. The other choir that was huge and "like an army" was for sure a classical choir. HOWEVER, they weren't even that good. Singing all together in harmonization isn't that hard. How about splitting up the parts and put them on different words, interesting rounds, accidentals, give then some Eric Whitacre (though I don't know if he had those out back then). Make 8 parts, maybe 12! They're a good gospel choir, great sound, but as a classical choir (which I'm sure as a national competition it would be regular school choirs which would provide a list of what you can use and what versions), they're pretty unprofessional and unskilled.

It was a fun movie, but are there any great movies about classical choirs, good ones? Presenting the most beautiful assortment of songs along with the complexity of it all? I only say this because I've just graduated out of one of the best choirs in Michigan, and I watch it and know we could have seriously learned the songs they do in a week (but that doesn't mean we'd beable to do the pop solos aswell of course, we are classical).
