HALF THE CAST IS DEAD

I was watching it last night and when the opening credits were showing, they showed Mary Wickes, James Coburn then Michael Jeter. Then a little bit further, they showed Robert Pastorelli. I was like, "Almost everyone who starred in this movie are dead!" Just a interesting tidbit....

reply

[deleted]

Yeah, that's who she was.

reply

Monica Calhoun was in Player's Club. The girl at the piano with Lauryn Hill was Tonya Blunt.

When they were coming out of the nursing home performance, she's the girl who said:"It was alright for what it was,but it wasn't all that"

reply

Dawn Steel, one of the producers of the film, also died. More interesting tidbits for ya.

reply

Am I not impressed. Just a tiny century from now, most probably all of the cast, producers etc. will have died. In other words, this discussion can be added to all films (or for the benefit of everybody just dropped).

The other girl that sang "His Eye is on the Sparrow," is actually named:

Tanya Blount

She has an album out called "Natural Thing" that's out of print. It's pretty good, though.

reply

So the plan is working then?

Ha Ha that reply was hilarious.
