Nuns not cool anymore!

When I was a kid I really hated the shift of the nuns being turned into a joke. While in the high school, I get it, they aren't cool. But what annoyed me was when Dolores took the kids to the old folks home to see the nuns perform and they performed that stupid song that didn't showcase their talent. In the first Sister Act film all the songs were great, here they turned it into a joke. Really it's just that 1 scene that seemed odd to me.

I have to agree, Definition00. The song just wasn't right for them, it felt so posed, and it turned into mush what the first film had established about their gentle and unassuming personalities.

But unlike you, I feel pretty much the same thing about the whole film. I'm just watching it now — first time I've ever seen it — and I'm constantly cringing. It's one of those movies where it feels like everything is done for effect, not because it's in the story for it to happen. I dislike films that feel like they've been planned and constructed by a committee.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
