shareI dunno, but he was hot:-)
shareI just came here to post the very same question. If anyone finds out, that'd be great. As many times as I've seen the film, I've yet to catch him being called by name by anyone.
Maybe I should try and track down a script. ;)

Just another X-Files nerd.
Is he Marcos? I see the credit and have no idea who Marcos is supposed to be. If you do a google search for Marcos Sedghi, you'll find a review on amazon by a guy named Marcos Sedghi who is a piano player. Whoever he is, he's very attractive, didn't look like a 17 year old to me, but I didn't mind. :)
Did he not have the most beautiful eyes? And wow that hair.... :)

I came to the same conclusion that the cute piano player was Mehran Marcos Sedghi based on the amazon review. There is also a Marcos Sedghi in Los Angeles associated with Elizabeth Taylor jewelry collection...I wonder if it is the same guy.
shareDang realized most of the cast are just labeled 'student' with no name. That is so not fair especially when trying to figure who someone is. Came in here as well to find out who the piano guy was and even assumed you were right but can't find pictures to match that name to confirm.

Just wanted to add my two cents in that I have been wondering about that gorgeous piano player as well, for years. Glad to see I'm not alone in this musing.

Well I have Mr Marcos Sedghi, as a facebook friend of mine.
But the shyness that you see in him in the movie (he lets the piano playing do the talking for him) is evident in his real persona as well.
Several times I have broached the subject with him of playing the cool pianist in the Sister Act 2 movie, and he never comments about it. In fact to tell you the truth he never comments on anything really. In some ways I am surprised he did accept me as a facebook friend.
In the end, I asked his forgiveness for intruding, if being in this movie is a private matter, and he is long past those days. No comment again.
His full name is Mehran Marcos Sedghi.
Now he has shorter hair, (no more pony tail) but still the same beautiful eyes. I wish him all the very best for the future. He has a very nice girlfriend as well, by the photos.
Oh, I pray by this post I haven't given Marcos a whole lot more facebook friend requests, from curious people! I can tell you he just does not want to talk about this subject, that for some reason tantalizes us.
I think though for the record, without one spoken word from him, he was cast very well in this role, not the least for his skill on keyboards.
In the scene where Sister Mary Clarence asks if anyone can play an instrument, you can just barely here one of the students say "Marcos can play". I listened to this 5 times just to make sure. Marcos is played by Mehran Marcos Sedghi
shareI've never paid much attention to that maccobraman, but it makes since. I love every scene with him. And you can tell Whoopi liked him too. Just from this movie he seemed like a sweetheart, someone you can get on with very well. That's probably silly but it's just what I got from his scenes and the few interactons with him. Ok, now I need to watch it again.

its this guy apparently
Mehran Marcos Sedghi is a common name for Iranian ethnicity. Mehran currently resides in the Pacific Palisades of Los Angeles, California. He is currently 38 years old, which would have made him 21 when the Sister Act II movie was released. As a professional accompanist and church music director myself, I truly appreciate the music in Sister Act II though I am unsure whether or not it was live or prerecorded. At any rate, I was very intrigued to investigate if Mehran has endeavored any other projects in acting or music but have not yet found anything. I will say that when I started playing piano towards the end of high school, his character in the Sister Act II movie was actually one of my inspirations.
