... molest Honey? What's the consensus? Many things seem to point to "yes". Such as...

-The way she outright despises him, telling her mother he's a pig.

-Doreen's accusation of him "slobbering all over Honey", only for him to say immediately, "I never touched her".

-How overly agitated she becomes when he approaches her in the jazz club.

-The conversation she has with Lois, when Lois tells her she got a phone sex call from her minister wanting an incest call with a 4-year-old girl, and Honey's reaction, saying "little 8-year-old girl, just does what the adult tells her". How did a 4-year-old suddenly become 8 in the span of one sentence?

I'm curious because a lot of people seem to like the Earl character, but I really did get the impression that he DID molest his stepdaughter to some degree. Altman never confirms it, but if I had to guess one way or the other, I would say YES.

I don't think there's any doubt that he did especially when you consider a line you left out when Doreen says to Honey "You know it was just the drink" or something.
