shareI don't follow -- why would he do that? The man who slept with the doctor's wife, Mitchell Anderson I think his name is, isn't actually seen in the movie. The doctor would have no reason to let the boy die, as revenge or anything else; his parents are merely the news anchorman and his wife, Andie MacDowell, and I don't think there's any relation between the two couples.
