For the people here who watched SL on VHS when did tape one end?

Okay so I'm 42 and I put off watching Schindler's List for years as I was afraid the movie would be too grim. I didn't watch it until it came out on 4k and I usually watch it once a year now. What I want to know in the VHS era of movies being spread across two tapes what was the scene the movie ended on on tape one? During the Video store era there were so many movies spread across two tapes when watching them today I remember exactly when we had to change the tape. I'm just curious.

The tape ended right before the Immolation scene (where tape 2 starts) when Schindler is talking to a Nazi officer in his office. The flipper disc DVD is the same way.

Thanks for commenting. I could see that being a good place to split the movie in two parts.

You watch it once a year now? That's surprising.

Like you, I also put the movie off for many, many years because I just figured it would be a real drag. Finally, tonight, I brought myself to watch it. It's a good movie, certainly, but probably not one I will ever need to see again.
