Amon Goeth

was a true misogynist. He was always aiming for and killing women. I only saw him kill one male which unfortunately was Lisiek the 14 year old. Not to mention the gorgeous woman in his bed, how rude and asinine he treated her, aiming the gun at her pretending to shoot. This guy had some major issues, probably not hugged enough by mommy. His poor maid, by God that woman was amazing...

reply

he had bigger issues than misogyny

reply

Agreed

reply

His bigger issues were more obvious. I think the OP brings up a good point.

reply

Yeah, thank you!

reply

He was indeed, a true psycho. Though, one thing I always have to take into consideration was how much he was drinking. He was basically drunk the entire time. I wonder how Amon would've behaved sober.

reply

That's like saying Hitler was antisocial.

reply

Hitler and Himmler went out of their way to recruit loser psycho's like Goeth to do their evil bidding.

reply

He was truly evil. A sadistic evil bastard who abused his power in the worse possible way.

reply

I don't agree with you at all, it had nothing to do with sex in my opinion. He killed that inactive woman and I'm pretty sure he would have done the same to any inactive man. Same for the architect, the probelm was not her sex but rather that Goeth could not allow a jew to act like he's the boss.

reply

Remember the scene where Helen is telling Oskar about how Goeth had a group of male inmates all lined up in formation and he killed 25 of them in like a minute? Yeah I think he met his Man Murder quota right there.

reply

Yeah,
I forgot about that one, it’s such a long movie. Good point!

reply

I felt particularly bad for Lisiek. He angered Goeth by failing to remove the stains from his bathtub, and from the moment he was outside and Goeth's first sniper round missed him, he knew he was a dead man walking and condemned to death. Goeth was a sicko for killing such an innocent child.

reply

I always wondered whether he had any chance of survival, like if he had managed to avoid being shot while walking to where he was walking to, or simply was out of reach by the time Goeth changed his mind to start shooting at him. I guess you could assume he'd get shot the next time Goeth sees him although maybe Goeth would have calmed down a bit by then and thought more about what Schindler said about treating people. Probably not when the state of the bath is a reminder.

reply

I'm sure that even if Lisiek had escaped the first time, Goeth would've shot him later on just out of petty spite, because Goeth loved to shoot dead innocent women and children.
