Just watched it for the first time and I made it to the end until Liam broke down, then my eyes got a little moist, but I was able to hold it in.
Great movie though and now one of my favorites.
I never watched this film in a theatre -I have only watched it alone so that I can weep loudly and openly - the most powerful film ever made
shareI watched this movie for the first time 2 days ago, and I definitely cannot say I made it all the way with DRY eyes, there was a little moisture there :p. I got *beep* up from the scene with the little girl walking alone in the streets while everyone around her is being rounded up and killed. I just knew what the outcome was going to be for her. I watched that scene again yesterday and I started to feel physically sick so I had to turn it off.

I have & more than once. It's too sentimentally presented for tears, & for me the Holocaust & all its associated horrors are way beyond tears, way beyond sadness. Moist eyes are reserved for It's A Wonderful Life or an episode of Long Lost Family.
