Photo Album (spoilers)

So at the end of the film, he is going through the album Natalie made.
It starts out with their wedding photos and goes on to show pictures of Jack with all these different women, in intimate poses.
I interpreted it to mean that she was smarter than Jack and knew about all his affairs.
SO why did she photograph him with the women? I can see why she wouldn't want to confront him about it....like thinking he wouldn't stop anyways, being in denial, avoiding confontation, etc. But she knows about it, follows him, and photographs him cavorting with these women. Wouldn't that be painful to watch your husband with another woman? Or maybe she was just biding her time to leave him with his album of transgressions.

I think your last line sums it up. And of course it is a dramatic way to end this dramatic movie. She is a young wife relaxing on the lawn making a photo album - what could SEEM sweeter? And all through the film its a sort of thread to how he winds up and that is the one thing he has left - this album which depicts his undoing. Pretty sad lesson to be learned. Didn't know he had all of his dreams already until he lost everything. All he had to do was be a clean cop and not cheat on his wife and he'd have everything he now desperately wants but he could not see that until it was gone - aren't so many people just that way? Sad.

I definitely agree. And don't forget that as Jack's sending her off and asks her to meet him at the cafe, she mentions she left something for him to make him sure that she'd show up, suggesting she knew he'd see the photos of him with the other women and know why she wouldn't return.
