i thik so. watch it youll see little bits that ring true to the game.

You are so true mate! I just saw it for the second time and i thought exactly the same thing! The whole narrative thing from the lead character was reminding me of max's lines at the beginning of each mission! And the whole background of the city is exactly the same (dark corners, mob, killers, dirty cops)... I hope they turn max payne into a movie some time!

Nitpick:

You mean to say the game rings true to the movie. Always give proper credit where it's due; <i>Romeo</i> came first after all, and it's no doubt that Max Payne took influence from it considering the big movie nuts they are down at Rockstar studios.

yes your right. i did mean max payne sounds like this movie. my bad. played the game before i saw the movie so my chronology is screwed up. great concept though. and fits well into a video game.

Nitpick:

Rockstar only published one of the Max Payne games and developed neither. That credit goes to Remedy.
