is anybody besides me thinking, that the movie is reminds of the game max payne? gary oldman even looks kinda like max payne...

Yeah, it has the NYC noir feel and the narration along with the female assassin from Max Payne 2, I imagine the game developers may have been fans of this movie.

I LOVE the "Max Payne" games, and yes, I think this film has that feel, especially since there was so much loss here. I agree with OrionTimeTraveler about the female assassin point as well.
