Musical?
I think this one is a no brainer. Young Frankenstein and The Producers are ok, but I think a live production of this is probably coming down the pipe.
shareYeah, ther are a few MB movies could make great musicals, and this is one I would put on top f the list as well. "High Anxiety" could be another. But I doubt even Mel could make a musical out of "Silent Movie"!

I remember reading something somewhere, probably on one of my Young Frankenstein soundtracks, that after the Producers, when Mel Brooks and the guy he works with on Broadway (Cannot for the life of me remember his name)were trying to figure out what to do for their next show, Mel totally threw out Men in Tights because it would be too easy and too expected. So he went with Young Frankenstein instead.
If I recall correctly, that is.
