Why no Petichial Hemorrhaging?

The woman in Rising Sun was supposedly strangled but I guess the research department didn't do their job because whenever someone is strangled or smothered the capilaries in their eyes burst so they get small dots on their eyes. This is called Petichial Hemorrhaging. In Rising Sun these are completely absent from the body. This post may seem nit-picky and I am sorry if I am reading to much into the movie. Does anyone have any explainations?

You make a very good point. You should also note why her dress was half-unzipped and the rape kit was being used despite the lack of any light available to discern where to swab.

Good point, I realize it was a movie and I'm sure LAPD has some of the best resources out there but I did crime scene for a bit. This would have been done by the Medical Examiner's office and the results wouldn't have been available in the few days over which this movie transpires.

When Sakamura dunk's girl's nipple in drink, than licks nipple.

You mean Petechial Hemorrhaging?

It's not very good to start criticizing a movie about something that you can't even spell correctly.
