This movie is underrated.

It should get a 7 or 8. And it's hard to believe that only 15,000 people have seen this movie.

Kelloway: Doyle, get in the car.
Doyle: But I ordered Onion Rings.
Kelloway: Doyle!

I totally agree; I gave it an 8. I read the book first, then saw it on a plane for the first time when it first came out. I have seen it many times on cable since then, and it always holds my interest. Great cast, good script, engaging characters, and even though the technology and the state of U.S.-Japanese relations are obviously dated, they aren't painfully so. And it has the delicious Sean Connery and Kevin Anderson, Wesley Snipes and Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa all in their prime - what more could a girl want? LOL

It could have been better but I always find it engaging when I see it. It has some great lines in it too.

Where Cary says, "Nooo, I'm a meat and potatoes man"

Keitel observing Cary sucking an American girl's nipple, "Plundering our natural resources"

I just watched it, and I thought it was absolutely atrocious!
