when andre got turned into a ghost why didn't he just possese the decapatron and come back to life???

He did. He controled Decapitron and in part 5 he has completely turned into his own powerful puppet. It never explained that area much but it's obvious he was a ghost but he turned his soul into the puppet, but he became the puppet all together, and unlike the others Decapitron needs electricity to power up.

Decapitron didn't die the end of part 5. He could have but Rick Myers was fixing him. He said at the end "Decapitron still needs a little work."
rick looses the puppets, the puppets get found by some one who sells them and dr megrew purchases them,
after the puppets kill megrew, they go back to bedaga bay inn, weak and

the puppets decide to bring back andre toulon with there last bit potion,
but hes weak to, he needs human instruments, so they extract the brain from MRS. GHALAGER [THE OWNER OF BEDAGA BAY INN]
and give it to toulon brining him back,
then he beings his soul transferions etc etc
Even I try to stay truthful to all the films, even THE LEGACY, but I do not believe part 2 took place after part 5 and 6. No way. Andre Toulon dying evil? No true PUPPET MASTER fan in the world would like that idea.

Decapitron continues to move after Toulon makes his statement. If that was the moment his soul moved on, it'd make no sense.
Lets be honest though, in Magrew's puppet show, neither Torch nor Decapitron would really be acceptable. They're too dangerous. That's why they don't come back.

What? Basically in part 5 Andre becomes Decapitron. Toulon doesn't go to Heaven or Hell, but has a second life as Decapitron.

Torch and Decapitron are obviously some where. They're not used during puppet shows yes because they are too dangerous. Torch anyway. In real life they don't return because they're too expensive. But they can still come back.
