Probably because this already happened 4 years ago. I don't feel any sympathy for her ex-husband. I have no doubt that he was aware of what she had done to their daughters. It seemed he only had interest in having sons (which is really creepy and makes me wonder if his 27 year old son was unmarried and still living with his father.)
