Sniper Rifle?
Anyone know what kind of Sniper Rifle Maggie uses in the New Orleans part?
shareIt is an Anschutz .22 calibre target rifle.
At that sort of range it is very unlikely that an assassin would use such a small calibre though, .22 is used more for either close-range target shooting, or things like rabbits and foxes etc.
That being said, a .22 will kill but I think it would be unlikely an assassin would use one at that kind of range.
Nina would also have had to work the bolt on the rifle to re-cock it after each round fired and to eject the spent cartridge casing...She could not have just fired 3 or 4 shots in immediate succession as she did in the film, unless the rifle was semi-automatic, in which case there would not have been a bolt on the side of it as there was in the film.
is it strange that the fact you know all that turns me on slightly :)
