Only like it for the Anne Bancroft scenes
Anne Bancroft steals the movie. Her scenes are my favorite. There’s just something appealing about the way Maggie allows the soothing—yet firm—Amanda to transform her into a lady.
Fonda gave the strongest performance, but Bancroft's character was certainly the most pleasant to watch in this decent flick.
