Angela's accent

Where was the Angela character supposed to be from? Does anyone have any thoughts on that? I'm thinking maybe Argentina or something? I like her accent a lot.

The accent sounds Eastern European.

Yeah, it does sound kind of European but i am taking into account that Vikki Carr was playing in her car. So thought maybe was a cassette tape that the character might have been listening to in her car before they stole it. Vikki Carr is a Spanish speaking singer, so i thought maybe Angela's character was too of some sort. :-/

Sounds French to me. Definitely not Eastern European unless you compare to the affected accent of Zsa Zsa Gabor.
