Bridget Fonda aint afraid of being ugly

In this movie, she wasn't very attractive, at least at first. Applause to her. A lot of lady actors are now so afraid of even coming off slightly ugly, slightly fat or slightly unkempt. It takes a good actress to play the role of a real woman...

"Duh. You're the idiot. Not me."

reply

Because her hair was messy? Dirty teeth? She still looked hot n

reply

She definitely looked like a crack-head junkie.

reply

Her legs were amaaaaazing. I fapped to them.

reply

ilovejuliandfefe So crackhead junkies are considered "a real woman" to you? Oooookaaaayyyy

reply

So if a crackhead junkie isn't a "real woman" what are they?

reply

That's not what I was getting at, he seemed to be insinuating that real woman in general are crackhead junkies or should look like them...... it was the way he said it whether he was unintentionally saying it the wrong way or actually meant it that way. Yes junkies are real women but they are in a minority and not the ideal way we would normally interpret would a real woman is. A real woman to a normal healthy person is a woman who is healthy/beautiful(or just plain), responsible, has a job to support themselves, and someone who takes care of themselves and drug free. I'm sorry but drug addicts/junkies are not normal people at all, they are consumed by their addictions.

reply

I understand, and I had debated replying to you or to the OP with my first comment as I don't think that there is an actual measure of what a "real" woman or man is.

We can say that addicts/junkies aren't normal, or we could look at it as that they are normal people who had something happen to them which lead them to turn to drugs, or we can look at it that addiction is a chronic brain disease. Do we consider those with cancer are not normal?

I'm not attacking you, like I said I was debating who to reply to. Is a woman who has had a mastectomy still a real woman? Is a woman who chooses not to have kids a real woman? Is a woman who has an eating disorder a real woman?

I could go on and on, but I am curious as to what makes a "real woman"

reply

Cancer is a disease by natural(or unnatural) causes so can't really lump that into the equation since it's not a choice and something that develops internally. Doing drugs is a choice, most drugs that are highly addictive do not come from natural causes..... they are man made. It's like injecting poison into your body. So therefore it is not normal to do them knowing they can harm you and the fact they are man made chemicals makes then even more unnatural, a person who is addicted to this stuff isn't normal because A. they know it's bad for them but they choose to do it anyways, a normal person knows better and cares B. the addiction stems from unnatural causes therefore turning them into an unnatural shadow of their former selves. A mastectomy is to cut out cancer so no they are still normal because it's not their fault, just misfortune. "A woman who chooses not to have kids a real woman?"....yes of course they're a real woman because being a real woman isn't based on having kids unless your mind is still stuck in Medieval times. Eating disorder? I'll leave that up to debate. A real woman is someone cares about themselves, others, and has strong discernment

reply

Are you a woman?

Also, please look into why some people have addictions and others don't.
