Ok, so what happens...

...tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, 5 years or even 25 years from now when the agency--especially Kaufman-finds out that Codename: Nina is still alive? And what's gonna happen to Bob? Thanx for any & all replies, thoughts & opinions!!

rockiebattes, I have wondered about what will happen to her. She's got no purse, no money, just wandering around. How will she eat, where will she sleep, stuff like that. How will she make a new life for herself with no ID, no Social Security information. As for Kaufman finding out, remember Bob called in "and the girl's dead, too." So Kaufman will just do nothing as he believes that Nina is dead.

Yes, but at some point, whether it be 1 week, 1 year, or 5, 10 or 20 years or more from the present time, SOMEONE from that agency is going to see Codename: Nina & recognize her for who she is and realize that she was never actually dead. THAT's when all the it-shay will hit the proverbial fan!!

I'm kinda late to the discussion but i like it and found it really interesting so im gonna weigh in.

1. They will believe she is dead because they guy said so. Plain and simple. Unless he had suspicions of his interested in Maggie, the guy is gonna believe him flat out. This means she is totally free. Most importantly, people forget. Have you looked at pictures of yourself and thought "i look really different now" or "damn, i got fat"? Well, now imagine remembering what somebody else looked like? Think back to a teacher you had many years ago and think to yourself if you would recognize that person walking down the street in a different city. chances are slim to none.

2. Nobody is gonna recognize her because lots of people look a like and sound alike. Also with time people get old and features change. Even a simple wig, haircut, hair die, clothes and make up can disguise anyone. Besides, you're gonna gonna think you saw someone who you believe is dead unless you actually got close and talked to them. And you're assuming she is staying in the same city. Which brings me to my next point.

3. She could easily leave the city, the sate or even the country. Getting some fake documents and not as hard as you think. Social security number? ID? Job? How do you think millions of undocumented immigrants work and feed themselves in this country. Not by magic, I'll tell you that. If she left the country none of this would be even a problem. She pretty much has to live a "simple" life to not bring herself to the radar. That's not difficult.

4. As for the ending on this movie: It's nice and open ended. JP was really bitchy and annoying so i don't think he's be able to handle her while not knowing anything. She could tell him but then we have a case of if will believe her and if he does, will he want to stay with her. A smart person in her position would leave him and move on with her life. To not affect him and herself. Clean slate is best.

I always pictured she'd get an apartment in NYC but rent one of the rooms out to some psycho girl named Heddy who she has to take out eventually. All that training she received helps her out in that situation.

Haha! That's too funny!!! A 'Single White Female' Crossover. That was a good one.

I only thought of that because I watched both those movies back to back over the past couple days. Lol

The TV series "NIKITA" is literally a sequel to the film. I watched it and fell in love with it. Picks up right where the movie ended, has a nice start, middle and end. Oh, and the ending is AH.MAAAYYY.ZZIIINGG :)
