I too am hoping for some info on this nice little ditty. It's so attractive and perfect for the scene isn't it? The interplay between the sax & the keyboards over that sexy groove? A real delight, an all too brief piece of paradise. It brings to mind 'flex' by jamaican artist mad cobra, same sultry groove. Anybody out there whith the knowledge on this track please share with us, thanx! One.

One thing's for certain- for his first 3 films, john singleton enlisted the legendary bassist/composer/trailblazer stanley clark to score original music (most famously the music in the scene where doughboy & crew avenge ricky's murder in 'boyz n the hood', included on the motion picture soundtrack in remix form as "black on black crime"). Perhaps the music in poetic justice's thoughts on the beach scene is just a part of clark's score for that film available to our ears only through that movie.

P.s. Dig the funked up score mr. clark stewed up on higher learning.
